Boilers should be serviced once a year to ensure they are working efficiently and safely. In fact, many manufacturers require you to have an annual service to retain their warranty.

    Comprehensive Boiler Servicing

During your annual service, our engineer will inspect the boiler, and its controls to ensure it is safe. The engineer will then remove the boiler casing to look for visible signs of corrosion and leaks whilst checking the components. We will look for visible signs of corrosion and leaks while checking that each component functions correctly.

An overview of the checks our engineers will make:

    • Visual inspection of the boiler and its controls
    • Gas tightness and pressure tests to check for leaks and pressure
    • Flue analyser test to check emissions
    • Inspect your boiler for signs of corrosion and leaks
    • Clean components of dirt and debris
    • Provide an annual Gas Safe certificate

    Boiler Safety

Faulty boilers aren’t just expensive to repair. They’re also dangerous. According to a recent study commissioned by the campaign group Project SHOUT, there has been an increase in the number of hazardous appliances in homes since the pandemic. The group believe this may be due to homeowners being reluctant to let engineers into their homes during the pandemic.

In 2020, there were 116 deaths due to the toxic effects of carbon monoxide poisoning.
